STUDENT AWARDS

PERFECT ATTENDANCE

The Bogalusa City School Board desires to recognize students with perfect attendance at the close of the school year based on the following criteria:

1. Perfect attendance should not be confused with legally excused absence;
    

2. Being away from school while participating in an official school activity does not constitute an absence.  The school principal shall decide what is official school activity;
    

3. Tardiness is not absence;
    

4. Half-day absence eliminates eligibility for perfect attendance awards.
