AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS

The Bogalusa City School Board believes that recognition of student achievement can contribute to the continued success of students and the school system.  The School Board shall take the opportunity as appropriate to recognize student achievement and to encourage all students to excel in their academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular endeavors.

LEAP AND GEE ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

The School Board authorizes the Superintendent to present monetary awards based on success levels to all students who complete either the LEAP or GEE, and who reach the Advanced Level or Student Mastery.  The amounts shall be as set by the Board and may be modified annually based on district funding levels.
