F. Superintendent Report
* Summer maintenance schedules, such as painting and upkeep, will start in schools. Inmates will assist in this process. Student workers will also work during these schedules, but they will not work together.
* Summer feeding will begin in June at all three schools.
* A two-week summer camp will be held at the school in July.
* A Cultural and Climate Survey has been sent to all staff, students, and parents.
* All staff will have an end-of-the-year celebration at Cassidy Park on May 31, 2024.
* Summer Learning Institute with all administration and key staff will be from June 3–6, 2024.
* May 28-29, 2024, are makeup days for students. May 29, 2024, is the last day for students. May 31, 2024, is the last day for staff.
* I will start a tradition of giving away an award (a crystalax trophy) to a high school graduating senior every year—not to the smartest student or most athletic, but to a model student.
* We (Bogalusa High School) had their first play in twenty years,Little Shop of Horrors. A promotional video was made.
* On May 8, 2024,The Big Bad Lumberjack Band performed at the Lumberjack Food Store during their ribbon cutting. The Lumberjack Store made a financial donation to the band.
* The Bogalusa City Schools donated funds to St Tammany Schools for the damages they faced from the storm. BCS participated in a dress-down day for $1.00, which raised over $2,000.00. I hand-delivered the money to the school.
* Drug Interaction Prevention Day was sponsored by Access Health today.
* The Bogalusa High Schools' Student Council and the Superintendent Student Advisory Council went to the state Capitol.
* The Bogalusa City Schools' central office was awarded a crawfish boil for their hard work.

Ashley McMillan made a public response about the school play and read an open letter to the board members A public response was made by Roniqua Watkins about committee and board meetings,and issues with the Bogalusa City Schools
