Statement from President Kates-“We went into Executive Session and talked about personnel.  I turned it over to Mrs. Breaux.  It’s in her hands.”

Statement from Superintendent Breaux-“Okay, we went in there, and I told the Board before I even got this job that I would always  collaborate and communicate with them and I do.  What we have done; we have made some changes.  All I’m going to tell you are the pertinent things.  First of all, our Principal at the high school is Lesley McKinley, the Secretary there is Ann Young; the Bookkeeper is Connie Little.  At the elementary school, the Principal for second (2nd) through fifth (5th) is Raymond Morris; the Assistant Principal is Leslie Raborn; the Secretary is Shalonda Morris and the Bookkeeper is Joan Rushing.  At the high school, the Board and I both decided that we needed a Principal and an Assistant Principal for sixth (6th) through eighth (8th) grade, because they said that those are the critical years for kids; and I agree; so the Principal for sixth (6th) through eighth (8th) is Tonyah Jefferson; the Assistant Principal is Jennifer Beninato. We have to get a high school Disciplinarian. The Assistant Principal at high school is Linda Pittman. At Byrd Avenue, the Principal is Mrs. Shelia Lawrence; the Secretary is Mrs. Cathy Mitchell.  At Denhamtown, the Principal is Ms. Barbara Greely, and the Secretary is Ms. Genia Baughman.  And, at Northside Community Resource Center, I can give you all of those; it’s not many.   K-8 ARC is Sharronda Smith; the Paras are James Butler and Ellen Bailey; 9-12 ARC is a vacancy.  We’ve got to get an ARC Teacher; the Para is Darlene Harry.  The computer Lab person will be Antonia Self; the Secretary will be Loretta Byrd; the Parental and Homeless person is Karyn Magee; ESL is Veronica Powell; Technology is Heather McDaniel, Josh Herndon and Mia Kennerson.  The nurses are Lisa Murray, and Kathi Adams; and, the custodian is Joycelyn Payne.  The Board Office is the same.  We are going to advertise for a Receptionist.  We’re going to advertise for a Secretary for Karla McGehee, and we are going to advertise for a Librarian at the high school.  If I didn’t have to make these changes, I had run off some copies but I don’t want to give it to you with scratch through, so what I’ll’ do tomorrow is have it redone and email it to your Principals in the morning.   I’m going to ask the Principals to make a copy and post it on the outside bulletin board, so they can see it.  Thank you all.”
